PoE – Power over Ethernet – is the perfect power solution for homes or businesses with hard wired ethernet, new construction, remodeling or where an outlet is not near your voice assistant or Nest Home Hub.
You will also need an Ethernet Switch with PoE Ports to inject the low-volt power into your ethernet cable where internet comes into the structure. These are around $50 and can be purchased on this site. We like the TP-Link TL-SG1005P.
